20 Nov InnoVal 1st Pilot Training Workshop: Barcelona 16 November 2017

On Thursday 16 November 2017 EUCEN organised the first pilot training workshop of the InnoVal project in Barcelona. The activity was led by Francesca Uras, Projects Officer at EUCEN, and saw the active participation of education professionals from Spain, Belgium, France, Portugal, Turkey and other European countries. InnoVal project partner ANESPO also participated in the workshop.

The event aimed to present one of the key project outcomes – the Training Programme on the application of alternative evaluation methods – and collect feedback and recommendations from participants how to improve it. The results of the initial needs assessment phase of the project were also shared with the participants, who confirmed the relevance of some of the key aspects explored by the project partnership: the importance of using a mix of standardised and alternative assessment methods for VNFIL, the need for capacity building and training of assessors, the need to better match assessments to needs and to invest in the design and quality of alternative assessment.
